Gunner is a 15 year old paint gelding standing 15 hds tall and boy is he flashy with his unique markings. He is one that’s going to stand out!
Gunner has covered serious country — miles and miles of trails, different states, camping trips, rough terrain, water crossings, rocky climbs, thick brush — you name it. He’ll ease along on a loose rein, happily walk all day, or step into a trot or lope if you want to cover ground. He crosses water without hesitation (he loves to splash around in the water), steps over logs, crosses bridges, and handles new places with a steady mind. He’s even taken in the sights and sounds of the historic Fort Worth Stockyards without missing a beat.
In the arena, he keeps it simple and solid — easy neck rein, smooth transitions, and a stop that’s dependable. Nothing fancy, just broke the way one should be. He’s user friendly and easy to ride not one you need a handbook on.
He stands tied, good for the farrier (currently barefoot ), loads and unloads easy.
