Siesta or “Siesta” is the go-to horse around here! She is sweet, dependable, intelligent, and a super fun ride! Standing at 15.1 hands and built like an absolute tank, this mare is great for lots of different disciplines.

“Siesta” is extremely versatile and has done a little bit of everything! She is an amazing kid and family horse, has taught lessons to young kids and inexperienced adults, and has dabbled in the hunter jumper and cross-country world, as well as some western pleasure and even the start of western dressage! She has a beautiful walk/jog/lope, an amazing frame/collection, and knows where her body is.

Siesta has one of the smoothest lopes you’ll ride and will go off of just a click or kiss. We ride Siesta right down our busy roads and into town frequently! She is not scared of lots of traffic or commotion and has seen everything there is to see in busy Fort Collins life! She crosses bridges and water and is not afraid of dogs or bikes.

She has been barefoot her whole life and is very surefooted in the mountains and on steeper terrain and/or territory. At 15 years old, Siesta is the perfect age to take her whatever direction you want to go and know you’ll have a safe/ fun ride and with a horse that has a lot of experience under her belt. "
