He may not fit under the tree, but he will stand long enough to wrap him up for the perfect Christmas present! Let me introduce Waylon! He is 7 years old, 15.2 hands tall and the definition of QUIET! Waylon has the sweetest personality! He is the first to greet you at the gate, stands tied, loves to be groomed, loads easy, backs out of the trailer, easy to tack up. He is safe for ANY level of rider! His favorite pace is walk but will easily trot and lope smoothly on the correct lead when asked! A great stop and easy back. He has seen more miles on the trails than your neighbors old coon dog. He crosses water, logs, and ditches with ease. He will lead the group or bring up the tail end and he has been packed on numerous times! Load him up with whatever you need to carry and he gets the job done. Waylon is as reliable as your old farm truck- he shows up every day no matter the conditions and gets you from point A to point B without a single issue. He dosent have all the fancy bells and whistles but he is the tried and true trail horse that will take care of you every single time! Waylon ha also been exposed to ALL the “silly” things. While we didn’t get videos of everything he has been shot off of, carried a tarp, carried a flag, rode through party balloons, will stand in a circle of fire, had fire works lit off of him, cracked a bull whip, done the yoga ball, and soooo much more. Not a single thing phases this guy! While Waylon probably wouldn’t be my top pick for “quick” ranch work he is a pro at ponying colts, moving cows to pasture, and will pull anything! I seriously think this guy could make a dang good police horse or a pony track horse! Or simply just take him and enjoy him on the trails! You really can’t go wrong with one this quiet. He has zero buck, bite, rear or kick. Waylon is parrot mouthed- this does not affect him in ANY WAY. He eats out of a hay bag with smalls holes just fine, and eats out in the pasture like a fat pig. He is 100% sound, no previous injuries or health issues. He does not require any special maintenance. Very easy keeper, barefoot hooves.
