Westland van de Teugenaar is a 4 years old allround NRPS gelding. He measures now 1.67m and is expected to grow around the 1.69/1.70m. With his beautiful buckskin color, he's a real eye-catcher! CLEAN X-RAYS!

Westland has a very interesting pedigree that combines dressage and jumping: Whatever van de Teugenaar (Whiteyassar x Montreal VDL x Emilion x Alme) x Discovery x Jonggor’s Weyden.

We've owned his dam for 15 years now and she competed at Z1 dressage level with us and also jumped at 1.20m level before (she has been used as a breeding mare / broodmare in the last years). She also has the "Performance Sport" and "Keur" predicates and is WFFS-free. She is a Discovery x Jonggor’s Weyden.

Behind Discovery are the stallions Dolany, Donnerhall, Donnerwetter Lorentin I, and Loutano, all of whom have competed at Grand Prix level. Donnerhall has over 160 approved sons and also got a lot of victories! Donnerhall achieved an individual third place (bronze) and team gold at the World Equestrian Games in Den Haag. At the World Championships in Rome, the German dressage team won a gold medal. Jonggor’s Weyden is the dam's sire and competes at Grand Prix level. He is the only approved dressage stallion in the world to ever win an individual medal at the Olympic Games. At the Atlanta Olympics, Jonggor’s Weyden, ridden by Sven Rothenberger, produced team silver and an individual bronze medal. In Westland's damline, you'll find, in addition to many other awards, the stallion Aktion, who also competed at Grand Prix level. Further back in the damline, we also find the stallion Pion, who was a Z2 dressage stallion and a 1.40m show jumper. There's also Akteur, who was a 1.60m show jumper.

Westland's sire is the buckskin stallion Whatever van de Teugenaar (we also bred him ourselves). After successfully competing in his first competitions in the Netherlands, including two appearances at the Regional Championships with an amateur rider, he was sold to a French show jumper who also competed him in Belgium. He is now based in Italy, competing at 1.30m and being further prepared for higher-level. He is approved by the EU-recognized RBP Studbook and is out of the approved Cremello show jumping stallion Whiteyassar (who has passed away). He also comes from a very good damline, combining both sport and predicates. This line includes the renowned show jumping stallions Montreal VDL, Nimmerdor, Emilion, Wellington, and Alme, all of whom jump at 1.60m level. The renowned stallion Indoctro, who jumped at 1.40m level, is also in this line. His dam competed at 1.20m level under several riders in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France.

Westland has a promising and allround pedigree. He is suitable for dressage, show jumping, hunter and eventing. This winter we just started to make him saddle broken, he was saddle broken for 3 weeks and then he got a break, he went back on the field to grow more, now we’re riding him again since this week. He’s very brave! He has no (stable) vices! He has also CLEAN X-RAYS (without any remarks)!

Pedigree: https://www.horsetelex.nl/horses/pedigree/2314022/westland-van-de-teugenaar

The second-to-last photos are of the dam (Discovery x Jonggor's Weyden), and the last photos are of the sire, Whatever van de Teugenaar (Whiteyassar x Montreal VDL x Emilion x Alme).

Asking price € 18.000 negotiable
