🇮🇪 5yo | 16hh | Homebred Mare 🇮🇪 

Derry Girl is a quality, blood-type mare who has been slowly & carefully produced. She has a super canter and a very careful jump . SJI registered with 17 points to date and a very consistent record – recently jumping clear in her first 1.10m – she really doesn’t like to touch a pole! 

Light in the hand, balanced and very adjustable, she is quick on her feet and we think with a little more mileage she’ll be a seriously competitive, mare against the clock.

Fourth generation homebred, by KMS Rooney out of Oilean Honey (Lougherne Cashell x Casall x Easy Lift), who competed successfully up to 1.30m/1.35m and was a very competitive jump-off mare.

The dam siblings Oilean Uno & Oilean Dunlop both jumped to 1.40m, competed at the RDS and were ridden successfully by amateurs. Lougherne Cashell (jumped to 140) is by Casall and, despite having very few offspring due to being gelded has produced horses competing at international eventing level (2* & 4*)

Hacks alone/company and down to the beach, has seen cross-country fences and is good to shoe and box.
