Axel is 12 years old and 13.2 hands, this flashy paint John mule has already earned the education most people spend years trying to put into one. He’s been from Missouri to Arkansas, Texas to Oklahoma, packing riders on camping trips and covering miles of real country. Mountains, flat land, creeks, steep hills, logs, bridges, ditches and traffic—Axel has been there, done it, and doesn’t need a committee meeting before he goes where you point him. But here’s where Axel separates himself from the average trail mule… Put him in the arena and you’ll forget you’re sitting on a mule. Axel is FANCY broke. He walks, trots and lopes beautiful correct circles, picks up his leads, stops, backs and rides around like a good broke horse should. He’s even spent time turning back cattle in the cutting pen.
