Mulligan loves to go places and do all the things. He’s the kind of pony that happily goes from kid lessons to adult schooling rides to 'beverage consumption trail rides' without missing a beat. Safe, polite, and uncomplicated on the ground and under saddle, he’s a confidence builder without being dull. Although we primarily ride him in English/Jumping tack, he has also been ridden in Western tack. He will go exactly the speed you want: English trot or Western jog, Canter to jump a cross-country fence or Lope quiet circles on a long rein. He “gallops” cross-country and slow jogs bareback. (And by “gallop” I mean he is absolutely convinced he’s the next Secretariat and we won’t tell him any different.) En une minute, il devient compétitif et joueur lors de parties de horseball, et la suivante, il reste tranquillement debout pendant que les enfants pratiquent le « tour du monde » (voir la vidéo ‘Good Boy, Mulligan’ ci-dessous !). Mulligan se charge lui-même dans le van, traîne comme un pro, se tient parfaitement pour le maréchal-ferrant et se laisse clipper sans souci. Il aime sauter un parcours, puis se promener tranquillement en forêt. Actuellement utilisé pour des leçons pour enfants, mais c’est aussi un poney équilibré, amusant et facile à monter pour les adultes. Il a sauté des obstacles jusqu’à 60 cm et maîtrise parfaitement le shoulder-in, le haunches-in et le leg yield. Prêt pour une reprise en dressage au niveau Training ou pour une présentation en concours ouvert en Horsemanship, Équitation ou Plaisir. Mulligan est un poney rare qui peut vraiment tout faire. Il a un excellent mental, une attitude positive, et juste assez de confiance en lui pour que l’expérience reste ludique. Les poneys comme lui ne courent pas les rues ! « Pourquoi le vend-on ? » Mon projet consiste à faire naître, élever, commencer et entraîner des poneys pour qu’ils deviennent des partenaires sociables et heureux pour les amateurs adultes et les enfants.
