2 y/o Futurity prospect, stallion QH

For sale is my Quarter Horse stallion LIL SHOOTIN BUCKAROO “Buck” (Guns R for Shootin x Lil Steppin Chic), born in March 2023. He comes in the rare red dun splash color with two blue eyes and four white legs.

He has been regularly vaccinated and dewormed.

Buck is lightly started under saddle and has extensive groundwork experience. From the very beginning, he has been handled daily and is well accustomed to people. He loads easily, stands perfectly for the farrier, and knows the trails from many walks and a few rides.

Character: An absolute sweetheart – even as a stallion, very gentle and easy to handle. He is completely unflappable, truly “bombproof.” He shows the same qualities under saddle: willing, eager to please, and enjoys working. He is used to rider weight, saddle, and lunging in all three gaits, both with and without a rider. His training is ongoing.

He grew up in a large herd with both stallions and geldings and is currently turned out with another gelding. Even around mares, his behavior is exceptionally good.

Buck shows great potential for Reining and would be a strong prospect for ambitious competitors, but he would also make a reliable partner for leisure riding or could be used as a breeding stallion.
