DD is a 15hand 6yr old quarter horse gelding that is well trained in and out of the arena, he picks up both his leads and has a nice stop. He has a smooth walk trot and canter and is soft in the bridle. DD neckreins, sidepasses and yields to leg cues.
DD is a seasoned trail horse and will go over logs, thro water and wherever you point his head.
We have taken him on day rides at National Parks and ridden him down the main highway into town. We have used DD to push cattle and check fences here on the farm and he never refuses whatever discipline you choose for him. We have also used DD for walk trot lessons in the arena and he does well with that because he does not easily get rattled or annoyed. My little boys can get him out and brush and lead him around the farm and DD always takes care of them. We have also ridden DD english and he does take a jump really well and seems to enjoy it. DD does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd. He loads and unloads without a fuss, he stands to be tacked, mounted and to be bathed and shod. DD has a sweet personality and is the first to meet you at the gate. I could go on and on about this phenomenal gelding. DD sells safe sound and ready to move into his forever home.
