Jonah is a beautiful black John (gelding), he is a 10 yrs old and he stands a stocky built, 15 hands tall! This is one mule that is 100% no fuss-easy to ride! Whether you ride him every day or leave him off for a couple months, he rides gentle. My 7 year old nephew has ridden him around the farm and though the trails. Jonah is very laid back, rides on a loose rein and is never in a hurry. Jonah is not spooky and has miles and miles of experience from the mountains to the valleys he will cross anything that he is asked to from rivers to creeks, scale steep slopes while being sure footed and picks his path is a tight situation. He can handle the rough rocky trails, steep inclines and deep water… nothing bothers him and he feels right at home on the trails! He has been ridden around cattle. Jonah has been hauled on week long and weekend trail rides. He has been ridden by all members of our family. He loads right up with no issues. Jonah has a smooth lope although his favorite thing to do is walk on a loose rein and enjoy the scenery. He picks up his leads and rides in the arena as well as outside.
