Anyone who has encountered Oscar will not easily forget his appearance. He is a very expressive, strong, stable Murgese of approximately 167 cm (WH) in height, with a typical ram's head.

True to the Murgese breed, he has a calm temperament, yet he is always alert and eager to work. He always presents himself quite impressively, but at his core, he is a very nice guy and very attached to his person, which is also typical for this breed.

Oscar came to us in 2020, learned the basics of young horse training, and was then turned out to pasture until he was 4.5 years old.

In the winter of 2022/23, I started with lunging and groundwork. By now, he can walk, trot, and canter in the arena as well as in the field. Additionally, he is traffic-safe. Furthermore, he can perform all lateral movements at the walk and trot, as well as the beginnings of piaffe.

Oscar represents the line of baroque Murgese and is a very typical representative of this breed in both interior and exterior.

The foundation has been laid very finely, and in knowledgeable hands, he will become a dream of a baroque horse.

Thanks to careful basic training with a lot of love and patience, leading, loading, and the farrier are not an issue.

Having grown up in the pasture, he is also safe around electric fencing.
