Sassy is a beautiful 5-year-old Shire × Paint cross mare standing just over 15.1 hands, and she truly is the kind everyone hopes to find. She’s the horse Dad can gather cattle on, Mom can take to drill practice, and the kids can confidently learn to ride. With her sweet disposition, willing attitude, and versatile nature, Sassy has become our go-to girl for just about everything.
She has done a little bit of it all—cowboy chores, trail riding, lessons, carrying flags, pulling sleds, camping trips, and a handful of playday events. Sassy thrives on having a job and takes every new experience in stride. She’s the definition of a dependable, all-around family horse that enjoys being a jack-of-all-trades.
Under saddle, Sassy walks, trots, and lopes with smooth, correct transitions and a soft, easy-going feel.
