WW Almaas stammt aus einer Dynastie erfolgreicher Distanzpferde. Als Fohlen wurde er vom VZAP prämiert auf Grund seines korrekten Exterieurs und seiner schönen Bewegungsmanier. Er ist ein gut bemuskelter, kräftiger Wallach mit starkem Fundament, super Hufen und überragenden, runden, raumgreifenden Gängen. Als Reitpferd in verschiedenen Disziplinen wird er viel Freude machen. Er wird zum Einreiten vorbereitet mit Bodenarbeit, "Schrecktraining", Longieren etc., wobei er sehr eifrig und gerne mitmacht. Er hat viel Freude an der Arbeit mit Menschen, manchmal sitzt ihm etwas der Schalk im Nacken, er ist stets freundlich und höflich.
